Dennis has forty-five plus years’ experience recruiting senior-level executives. Dennis began his career as Vice President of a regional safety and security consulting firm with primary responsibilities for recruiting and developing sales consultants. After only four years with the firm, he became a partner and was responsible for both sales and operations. Since then, Dennis has shared responsibility for corporate leadership, development, strategy, and the bottom line. Dennis is best described as a business growth entrepreneur and an out-of-the-box problem solver.
In 1988, Dennis was recruited by Scott Reph, the CEO of Electronic Processing. His mandate was to drive the national recruitment campaign of bankcard executives in the new point-of-sale industry. Dennis successfully recruited, trained, and managed twelve teams of regional sales managers who, in turn, managed over two hundred and fifty local salespeople.
In 1997, Dennis co-founded and was Managing Partner of Armand Powers, a recruiting firm for top technology firms, law firms, advertising agencies, and “Big Eight accounting firms”. Dennis was a “full desk recruiter.” He frequently trained and mentored new recruiters.
In 2002, Dennis started his own recruiting firm called The Performers Network. Dennis decided to specialize his focus on accounting, finance, and law firms within 17 states, experiencing immediate success and growth. In the past, top VIP candidates frequently asked Dennis to stay in touch and keep them informed of new opportunities. He is a well-known career coach. This was the genesis of The Performers Network, a technological and personal way of growing candidate relationships over time. A biosphere of VIP professionals that stay in touch in order to be in touch, so that the right professional will become informed about the job opportunity that can improve their career and life.
A side note, Dennis is married to a top executive in the skin care industry. And in 2004, Dennis was asked by his wife to design a world-class spa & salon for the Tampa Bay area while he built his recruiting business. Dennis agreed to the challenge! He scouted the right real estate property, hired and managed contractors, and then successfully launched Spa Moritz. Quickly, Dennis became Brand Manager, Web Strategist, Advertising Director, and Business Partner with shared operations responsibility. Dennis continued to recruit during this era. And in 2014, Dennis successfully sold Spa Moritz, allowing him to focus on recruiting.
